Acceptable Use Policy

Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to your use of acestep.io (the Platform), including its music generation, editing, conversion, and related features. It supplements our Terms of Service and describes content and conduct that are not allowed.

Prohibited Content

You may not use the Platform to create, upload, process, request, distribute, or promote content in any of these categories:

• pornography/NSFW, including explicit sexual content or sexual exploitation.
• violence/gore, including graphic violent imagery or content that glorifies serious harm.
• hate speech targeting people or groups based on protected characteristics.
• child sexual abuse material or other child-unsafe content.
• deepfakes or impersonation that deceive, exploit, harass, or misrepresent a person.
• copyright or trademark infringement, including unauthorized use of protected works, names, or branding.

Zero-Tolerance Violations

The following violations are never permitted and may result in immediate action:

• Child sexual abuse material or attempts to sexualize, groom, or exploit children.
• Terrorism, mass violence, or praise, recruitment, or operational support for those acts.
• Instructions to build or use weapons of mass destruction.
• Genocide, ethnic hatred, or advocacy of violence against a protected group.
• Non-consensual sexual deepfakes or intimate imagery.

Other Prohibited Conduct

You must not use the Platform to:

• Break the law, facilitate fraud, or evade sanctions or other legal restrictions.
• Infringe privacy, expose personal information, or harass, threaten, or abuse another person.
• Probe, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Platform or another user's account.

Moderation and Review

AceStep uses the Creem Moderation API to screen supported user-supplied prompts and may review reported generated content. Automated screening and human review may be limited, and no screening process catches every violation. You remain responsible for your content and use of the Platform.

Reporting

Please report suspected violations, unlawful content, or urgent safety concerns to hi@acestep.io.

Enforcement and Appeals

Depending on the circumstances, AceStep may take one or more of the following actions:

• Issue a warning or request changes.
• Remove content or restrict access to a feature.
• Suspend or terminate an account.
• Report unlawful activity to authorities where appropriate.

If you believe an enforcement action was made in error, contact hi@acestep.io with the relevant account and a concise explanation. We will review appeals as appropriate; we do not guarantee a particular outcome or response time.

Model Disclosure

AceStep's music generation experience uses the ACE-Step 1.5 family of models developed by ACE Studio and StepFun. AceStep is independently operated and is not an official provider-endorsed application.

Policy Updates

We may update this policy as the Platform, applicable requirements, or our safety practices change. The updated version will be posted here with a new last-updated date.
