SINGING TEST
Whether you're a beginner wondering if you sing in tune, a choir member checking intonation, or a vocal coach giving feedback, our Singing Test plays reference notes and measures your pitch accuracy in real time — privately, in your browser.
Overview
Choose your voice range, then sing along as the tool plays piano notes one by one. A real-time pitch meter shows whether you're sharp, flat, or on target.
Workflow
Five reference notes are played across your vocal range. Each round plays a piano tone, you sing it back, and the tool measures your pitch deviation in cents.
Use Cases
Beginners check if they sing in tune, vocal coaches provide objective pitch feedback, choir members verify blend and intonation, and karaoke lovers pick songs in their range.
Each round plays a clear piano tone as your target pitch. The corresponding key highlights on the on-screen keyboard so you can see which note to sing.
As you sing, a live pitch meter shows whether you're flat, sharp, or on pitch — measured in cents deviation from the target note.
After five rounds you receive an overall pitch accuracy score (0–100) plus a per-note breakdown showing exactly where you were sharp or flat.
A singing test measures how accurately you match a target pitch. The tool plays a piano note, you sing it back, and it measures the pitch difference in cents.
Five notes are tested, sampled across your selected voice range (male or female). Each note plays for a few seconds while you sing along.

The meter shows your pitch deviation in cents. 0 cents means perfect pitch. Negative means flat, positive means sharp. Most people consider within ±15 cents as good intonation.
90–100 is excellent, 75–89 is good, 50–74 is fair, and below 50 means there is room for improvement. Even professional singers rarely score 100 every round.
Vibrato causes the pitch to oscillate. The tool measures your average pitch during the sustained part of the note, so moderate vibrato is handled well.

Sing at a steady volume in a quiet room. Background noise, breathiness or very soft singing can cause unstable readings.
Yes — the tool works in mobile browsers. Use headphones to avoid the piano sound feeding back into the microphone.
